The room was silent, and the staff were very nice. the location was convenient and had private parking. - I enjoyed the relatively quiet area.

Best possible and convenient location, the private parking was available. The staff was polite and helped to make our stay a NICE experience. Our superior king room was comfortable and silent with good beds.

Staff are awesome & only took us 20mins to get into times square. Very good
Would have liked coffee to be replaced everyday & a safe would have been useful. Had to ask for coffee and fresh towels.

Pluses: The enthusiasm and helpfulness of the staff, the hot breakfast prepared to order each morning and included in the price of the room. Convenient to 36th Street subway station so you can spend the night in a somewhat out-of-the-way location at a great price and still get to anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn (or wherever) very quickly each day.
I've stayed at twenty hotels in the nyc area in 2012 and this was one of my favorites; the fact that it took several minutes to get hot water in the morning was not a significant negative and it's the only one I can think of.

I truly enjoyed that stunningly beautiful and fine hotel. the location was best possible and convenient, for example, Green-Wood cemetery was within walking distance of the property. - the hotel was in a relatively quiet area, close to three different metro/subway lines, as well as supermarkets and restaurants.

Breakfast choice was poor. Staff is not really professional. Windows not soundproof, so you will hear the highway all night long. Well designed, but materials and processing thereof is of the poorest quality.
